A "Black Belt" is team leader in a business or division, trained in and
responsible for implementing Six Sigma principles
to increase quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction according to
DMAIC and DFSS methods and
standards. A Black Belt has usually completed a four-week training program, one
or more Six Sigma projects, and an examination on Six Sigma practices. |
