"Caring for Kids & Communities" Survey
Dear Parents, Care Givers & Community Partners,
An exciting new initiative is currently underway in the communities of Pictou, Antigonish and Guysborough. The project is called Understanding the Early Years and it is funded by Human Resources and Social Development Canada. Understanding the Early Years (UEY) is a national initiative that enables members of communities across Canada to better understand the needs of their young children and families so that they can determine the best programs and services to meet those needs. For more information, visit www.hrsdc.gc.ca. We are calling on members of our community to assist in collecting information that will better inform our project Specifically, we are seeking information on programs, service delivery models and accessibility for families with children from ages 0-6 in our community.
We ask that you take approximately 5-7 minutes to complete our 21 question survey called Caring for Kids & Communities. The information you share is voluntary and confidential and will be used exclusively to inform the UEY project and service providers in your community. At no time will you be able to be identified as participating in this survey. Your feedback is appreciated and will help us gain insight into early years’ program delivery that is reflective of your community.
If you would like to receive further information on the UEY project or to receive a copy of the finalized survey report please email Kim Perrin (kperrin@paguey). If you would prefer to obtain a paper copy of the survey, contact us at 1-888-533-3881.
Thanking you in advance for participating in our survey. Kim Perrin Community Coordinator Understanding the Early Years - Pictou Antigonish and Guysborough kperrin@paguey.ca
