Computer Technology - Computer Technology 9 focuses on how computers work. In exploring this, students will create web pages and use Microsoft Office to present what they discover.

Family Studies - Students will focus upon foods and nutrition (hands on preparation of a widely varied selection of foods together with a study of the major nutrients and their function in personal health), child studies (development of an interaction with children both now and in the future), and sewing (creation of a personally designed project combining artistic use of cloth and practical sewing skills).

Industrial Arts Technology: The Industrial Arts Technology program for grade 9 students will focus on “a design and make task” as well as a compulsory sketch unit that includes computer-aided drafting.

Instrumental Music: Enrol in this elective for band instruction during the school schedule. This course is open to those who have an interest in playing an instrument but not necessarily joining the school band. An individual instrument will be taught to each student. Beginner and Intermediate groupings are formed in each class section.

Visual Art - The Visual Art program for grade 9 students will include a range of art media that may include drawing, print making, painting, textile, sculptures, and architecture.
