Explanatory Statement My name is Kylie Prince and together with Elisabeth Wilson-Evered, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology, Psychiatry and Psychological Medicine at Monash University, we are conducting a research project looking at what drives members to get involved and become active contributors in the activities of the College of Organisational Psychologists. This project contributes toward my Master of Organisational Psychology.
We are inviting you today, as a College of Organisational Psychologist member to visit the COP website www.groups.psychology.org.au/cop/ and learn more about COP’s strategic plan, enhancement initiatives, opportunities for involvement and to give your opinion in our confidential feedback survey.
This brief online questionnaire will only take about 10 minutes, with results contributing to member service improvements and will be reported in my Master of Organisational Psychology thesis. The non-sensitive questions pertain to membership issues and participation is completely anonymous. After responding to our questions we have provided further information about the background to our survey.
Findings from this survey will be published on the COP website and storage of the data collected will adhere to the University regulations and be kept on University premises in a locked cupboard or filing cabinet for five years. A report of the study may be submitted for publication using aggregate data. At some future time, data from the present study may be used in future research.
