Thank you for taking part in this survey.
As part of a wide consultation exercise, we have been asked by the Department of Health to find out what family carers of people with long-term neurological conditions think about definitions of the terms ‘carer’ and ‘respite / replacement care.’
These terms are used on websites and in literature produced by health and social services and voluntary organisations. However, they can have different meanings for people according to their ethnic background, their experiences of caring and whether they are new to the role. We want people to be clear about what these terms mean, so that when they come across them, they know whether the information they read applies in their case.
We would like to know what you think by completing this brief survey, which should only take you around 10 minutes.
The information you provide will be anonymous and confidential. Nobody will be able to identify who did or did not take part in this survey.
If you would like help with any of the questions, please e-mail kclcarestudy@kcl.ac.uk or telephone David Williams on 0207-848-5418.
